We have stayed at many many guesthouses around the world and maintain the host can make or break a place - it could be as posh as the Ritz but if the host is unwelcoming, reluctant etc, it may as well be a hole in the ground!....this is definitely not the case at Gecko Beach. Doug and Gay welcomed us and made us feel right at home. They had appreciated the occasion (our anniversary) and decorated the room and laid on bubbly and chocolates. Gecko Beach House is a 4-star purpose-built guest house, situated right on the beach, 5 minutes walk from Langebaan's shops and restaurants.

We offer five luxurious bedrooms:

Four facing the lagoon (lie in bed and take in the view!)
One to the side (nice and secluded).
Every bedroom has its own designer en-suite.
The beds are all dressed with white percale linen.
The towels and dressing gowns are thick and heavy.
Further, we have a huge guest lounge where you can relax and soak up the view - perhaps watching the sun set with a yummy sundowner!
We provide a level of personal service commensurate with the quality of our guest house - previous guests have told us that we are as good as 5-star!.
Your breakfast is cooked to order and served to you on your private patio - or in the guest lounge if you prefer.
We want you to relax and enjoy your stay!
