Emfuleni River Lodge & Cafe

Great stay at Emfuleni and service was good.

We had a wonderfull weekend at Emfuleni River Lodge, Anita and her staff made us feel at home and treated us with great respect the entire weekend. The food is excellent, the accomodation was in good standard and I would definatley recommend this for anyone who would like to spend some time away from home. It was affordable, clost to alot of other activities that we could do with the kids and enjoyed every second of our stay there.

The rooms were really nice and clean. The people were friendly and even offered to go fetch us when we got lost. The location is spectacular with the view of the river, and the food was great.

Doorhandle fell off. Balcony door unable to lock thus no security. Bedlamps not working. Chairs on deck so bad a child cannot sit on it, totally lame. Carpets dirty. Spiderwebs all over balcony and entrance door. General maintanance absent, re varnish etc. Definitely not worth renting out to anybody. Paid R950 for one day.
