The award winning 12 000ha Entabeni Private Game Reserve is situated in the magnificent, malaria free Waterberg, a comfortable 3 hours drive from Johannesburg. Lake Entabeni, 1,7 kilometres long, lies between souring bluffs and peaks, a wonderful place for bird-watching and viewing a rich variety of wildlife. The hippos of Lake Entabeni are a special feature. Lakeside Lodge is situated on the banks of Lake Entabeni and offers luxurious, elegantly furnished en suite bedrooms.

Enjoy sundowners on your own private deck with the always-changing colours of the Entabeni Mountain reflecting in the lake. Lakeside Lodge provides a memorable blend of luxury in the wilderness. On the banks of Lake Entabeni luxurious the elegantly furnished en suite bedrooms are linked with thatched walkways to the Reception, Restaurant Conference and Boma areas.
With the unique setting of the Entabeni Mountain reflecting off the tranquil lake the only thing left to ponder is what the culinary journey in the heart of the Limpopo Province holds.

Using only the freshest selected produce the chefs seek to capture the spirit of the season. This creative team are continuously working on bringing to the table new and exciting dishes reflecting Southern Africa, or even greater, a combination of African and European cuisine. Guests can expect dishes that tell the story of past and present and can therefore expect every meal to be an event beyond comparison. Meals are served in a variety of locations ranging from Lakeside Restaurant to the boma set under night skies or various outside venues.

Fully Inclusive Package Rates include : Welcome drink, Accommodation, 3 Meals, 2 Game drives, Tea/Coffee and Confectionery, Tourism Levy, VAT at 14 percent. Excludes Beverages.

Game viewing was spectacular

We certainly enjoyed our stay, we were given a complimentary upgrade to Kingfisher Lodge which was awesome. Game viewing was spectacular especially the two week old baby rhino. Setting is stunning, staff are wonderful and very friendly. .

It was great. The personal care and attention from the game ranger from the time of arrival to departure was something I have not come across before. The game drives were also most enjoyable and informing. The rooms were most comfortable and the food was first class - I especially enjoyed the supper in the boma. Best regards Dr Nicholas Papenfus

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. The lodge is extremely child friendly. Our ranger was not only competent, he was so professional and due to his knowing his job so well, i got to see lions for the first time!!! What a treat, I would definitely return to this place and am recommending it to everyone I know.

We had a wonderful stay at Lakeside Lodge, two parents with a young son (nearly 6 yrs old). We saw the Big Five's, had the most skilled and pleasant ranger at hand every minute, the food was delicious (local AND international), the room was cosy and very tasteful, the staff very smiling and friendly and the open fires in the evening another pleasure.
