Description
Thundering Zulu”, the direct translation of DumaZulu, is an appropriate label for a place so rich in African culture. Situated in the heart of Zululand, near Hluhluwe, DumaZulu offers an authentic African cultural experience starting with the themes of the individual units.
Each free-standing unit is designed to resemble different tribes of Africa and has decor which adds rich colours of the earth to the interior, hues of burnt orange, rich reds and browns add to the tasteful ethnic feel with en-suite bathrooms, air-conditioning, telephones and tea/coffee making facilities.
The Lodge offers 20 units of which 10 are self catering, with a kitchenette neatly built within the unit allowing guests to choose between home cooked meals or dining at the lodge restaurant. A swimming pool is also available on the property.
DumaZulu Lodge & Traditional Village holds a 3-star rating by the Tourism Grading Council.
