Thanks for clean, friendly place. Upper end of price range but then we have to pay for cleanliness. Great place

Easy overnight visit, good safe parking, quiet nights sleep in a comfortable bed, within walking distance of the Spur if you don't want a buffet dinner. Great early breakfast and on the road.

Donkin Country House is really quiet and comfortable. Security is very good, you do not worry. You can be also parking your car inside gate.

We enjoyed our stay at Donkin House. Staff is very friendly and accommodation very clean.

I booked for one night at the Donkin Country House on our drive to Cape Town. When we arrived in Beaufort West, I went to Donkin Country House and checked. The lady at the reception completed the check-in process and then gave me directions to another property called Apperklas. I made my booking based on pictures and reviews of Donkin Country House. And I was very disappointed that without explanation, discussion or notification I was actually directed to another property. I made a booking for 3 adults and the Donkin pictures all showed rooms with full sized beds, instead, the property I was directed to was clearly for 2 adults and 2 children. The bed was a very uncomfortable pull out couch. I find the behaviour of the establishment very underhand and sneaky and I would advise any future patrons clarify what they are actually getting when they book at Donkin. Apperklas was clean, had a mini-kitchen with microwave and secure off street parking.
