This was a superb location surrounded by countryside, full of various varieties of birds. (Ideal for bird fanatics). The accommodation was of a high standard and facilities superb. Staff very helpful and friendly, organising and booking trips etc if required. Meals were fantastic. You can book evening meals if you wish which we fully recommend.
If we were in this area again, this would be our first choice for accommodation.

Very nice and special, because we were in the self-catering chalet. Very quiet and close to nature, they are in front of a dam, 5 minutes drive on private dirt road from the main lodge-farm. Staff very hospitable. Would definitely recommend for those who want to be close to nature but with all modern commodities.

This 4 Star accommodation consists of 11 luxurious, air-conditioned rooms at the main lodge. All richly decorated with modern amenities and private entrances. Lush gardens, open verandahs, mountain views, under floor heating, bar fridges, satellite TV, private safes, hairdryers, tea & coffee facilities and wireless internet all to your full .
De Zeekoe also offers 4 rustic cabins on the water’s edge a short 5 min drive from the main house.
Our cabins reflect a true African style and are fully equipped for self catering purposes. Each cabin has 2 bedrooms( inter leading ceilings, a bathroom( shower only), kitchenette, inside fireplace and a large deck with a picturesque view of the mountains. The water level may drop during dry season.
Activities on this 2000 ha farm include bird watching (over 162 biking, fishing(own rods), salt water swimming pool, wireless internet and self guided walks in absolute safety and harmony.
We are in the process of building a new school on the farm, as part of our uplifting program for underprivileged children. Hereby creating job opportunities for 20 families on the farm.

A perfect setting for birdlovers ( 162 bird species ). 5 min drive from the main house.
