Service was outstanding
Our stay at the guest house was memorable. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding, not only that the whole feel of the place was very homely and inviting. My fiance and I are planning another visit as soon as work calms down. The sights in and around the guest house were also an incentive. Thank you so much to Irene and David for making our visit spectacular.

Just 400m from our home you can walk to the beach with 60 000 year old fossilized dunes teaming with sea birds nests. Sedgefield boast five beaches for walking, swimming, board sailing, snorkeling, fishing and whale watching.

Our town slogan, "If it's out there - It's out here" speaks for itself, with a host of outdoor activities and an abundance of bird-life, hiking trails, cycling, horse riding and our pristine beaches.

Every room has a deck with wonderful views of the fynbos dunes and it is possible to spot our local buck from your deck.
Description
This delightful Bed and Breakfast in South Africa, situated in Sedgefield in the Garden Route, between Knysna and Wilderness, offers accommodation that is decorated with a sense of fun and originality, bright & fresh with light and space where peace & tranquility is a daily routine. We are situated in the Fynbos dunes adjacent to the Goukamma Marine Reserve with fascinating rock pools, 60 000 year old fossilized dunes teaming with sea bird nests. Spot the Oyster Catcher nesting her chicks. Sedgefield is conveniently situated on the Garden Route, halfway between Cape Town and the Addo Elephant Park, highly recommended for an extended stay to explore all the attractions on the Garden Route & Klein Karoo. Coral Reef Guest House is only 50km from George Airport and Sedgefield has a car hire company "Tortoise Car Hire" that offers a full car hire service including a shuttle service to and from the Airport to Sedgefield. The bedrooms are most comfortable offering quality & charm with balconies overlooking the fynbos dunes. There are two double bedrooms and one family room. As we are a non-smoking B&B, smoking is restricted to outside areas only. Relax at the salt water swimming pool or enjoy a short stroll to the beautiful beach. Safe and secure parking for three vehicles. Breakfast is a absolute treat, enjoyed in the company of our local bird life. Freshly baked bread and scones prepared by David, an inspired cook & baker, is world famous. Sedgefield has four reputable restaurants to choose from for evening meals, best prawns and steak in the Garden Route. Whale & Dolphin boat trips can be arranged with Marine Biologists at Plettenberg Bay just 55km from our B&B.Hosts and owners David and Irene are committed to making your stay a very pleasant experience.
