Chengeta Safari Lodge derives its name from the Shona "Ku Chengeta" meaning "to take care of". Chengeta is more than a name. It defines our approach to hospitality.
Situated at the foot of a granite kopje amidst indigenous trees and a tropical landscaped garden, guests can expect a tranquil and restful stay with us. This exclusive hideaway is home to a wide variety of birds and game that inhabit the well-established 7800-acre wildlife sanctuary. During a drive, one can witness a Secretary Bird building its nest or a herd of Blue Wilderbeest, Zebra or Buffalo crossing the planes.
