Description

We are situated in the picturesque Champagne Valley in the Central Drakensberg. The cottage offers four-bedrooms, two with queen beds and en-suite shower/toilet and two rooms with two single beds in each and a bathroom with bath/toilet. The cottage is fully furnished with a fridge, stove, microwave, dishwasher, fireplace and a TV with DVD player and DStv charged at R20.00 per day.

There is a braai situated under a covered wooden deck overlooking the beautiful Drakensberg Mountains. We are located within easy access to all amenities and activities of the area which includes a unique shopping experience at Cedarwood Shopping Centre, fine hotels, golf, tennis, squash, bird watching, quad biking, fishing, horse-riding, Adventure Centre and concerts at the Drakensberg Boys Choir and Drakensberg Canopy Tours plus loads more. The cottage, a 4 hour drive from Johannesburg and 2 hours from Durban, is ideal for a weekend get away or a longer, more leisurely stay.

Cedarwood Cottage near Winterton is a lovely, comfortable house with fantastic views of the Drakensberg! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay which was too short. Adding a few trees for shading and a swimming pool will earn 5 stars from my family and I. Thank you to the Dold family! We hope to return in the near future.
