Carisbrooke

Carisbrooke is situated in the quaint seaside village of St James, within walking distance to the antique shops and restaurants of Kalk Bay. St James is en route to Cape Point and a mere 30 minutes from the city centre of Cape Town.

The dwelling dates back to the late 1800's and is mostly in its original form, including gorgeous teak floors, while the front verandah and bathrooms have been tastefully upgraded. The ocean front house is a ten minute walk away from the white sand beach at Muizenberg, and a ten minute walk from the Dalebrooke tidal pool. The best surfing reefs are also within these limits, with Muizenberg Corner being a great place for beginners.

A supermarket and several restaurants are also within walking distance, and the quaint fishing village of Kalk Bay, with its range of collectibles, gifts and a varied village-style shopping experience, only a fifteen minute walk away.

Cape Town International Airport is 20 to 30 minute drive away, depending on the route taken, and you may also make use of our shuttle service on prior arrangement. A cleaning service is provided on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, excluding public holidays. Extra cleaning service can be arranged at an additional fee.
