Cape Town Lodge Hotel was a pleasant surprise! Comfortable, affordable with lovely staff, it was indeed a very pleasant experience! My only criticism was the R60 overnight parking fee; a detail notmentioned when I booked electronically. I also felt a little annoyed bythe fact that our motorcycle (an adventure machine) had to be  pushedinto a very tiny (truly!) corner (bordering on the exit lane). ChargingR60 (the same as for a much larger type of vehicle, viz. a car / 4x4 /station wagon) seemed to be an unfair comparison.Other than this our experience has been very pleasant. see more

I only stayed over for 1 night but couldn't have asked for a better hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and the room was much better than  expected and for the price it was absolutely worth it. That is now my new favorite place :).

The stay was nice, however, when we arrived there, we were welcomed by a very unfriendly receptionist. My husband and I have been to many hotels and never have we experienced such coldness. I must say though when one of the regular customers came, obviously a foreigner,  she almost jumped over the counter to greet him. When he left she immediately went back to her cold attitude and rumbling the rules off to us. It felt like we have been categorised. Well I don't think I will be staying there anytime soon. Your front desk should be the image of your hotel, and if that is lacking, it makes every... see more

The hotel upgraded my booking for a regular double room to the loft apartment. The apartment was amazing. It had everything we could have asked for and was clean and comfortable. The view from this loft, room 904, is breathtaking! I would recommend this hotel to anyone needed a place in the Cape Town cbd!

You'll have to look for an unmarked door and walk up an inconspicuous staircase to successfully find The Waiting Room. But once inside, you'll soon realize that this little scene is a true hidden gem. Located above the The Royale Eatery in Long...
