Description
Cape Footprints is a spacious modern house constructed using sandbags in the image of two footprints. Located conveniently between George and Knysna on South Africa's unique Garden Route, the house offers uninterrupted views of the Indian Ocean where dolphins and whales are regularly sighted. Kleinkranz Beach is a mere two-minute walk from the house.
The house comfortably sleeps six people in two double and one twin room. There are three bathrooms with walk-in showers, a very spacious and well-equipped kitchen with a cooking island, an indoor barbecue, and a living room that overlooks the sea. An inward sloping roof captures rainfall used for everything except drinking. Downstairs is a garage with ample space, and we are also developing a water-wise indigenous garden.
Cape Footprints is only 20 minutes from George Airport with daily flights from Johannesburg, Cape Town, and Durban. Cape Town is less than 500 km by road, and the Garden Route stretches over 200 km from Mossel Bay to Storms River.
