My sister and her friend stayed at Calabash Inn. They were very happy with the service and the set up. Missed having a shower in the bathroom but otherwise it was fine. Breakfast was good as well, will recommend Calabash as a guest house.

The four nights we spent at the inn were wonderful. We felt at home away from home and the children did not have a single complaint except that the holiday was too short! l guess because they felt welcome and the pool was popular with them. All in all, good location, friendly staff and a wonderful holiday!

This is a really lovely place located north of the centre of Durban. Very handy location with great water views. Furnishings are comfortable and clean and have that homely feeling. The hosts are truely amazing people who extented the upmost hospitality to me during my stay. They went out of their way to ensure that my stay was the best it could be and I am so greatful for the way they treated me. A fantastic bar set up with a view worth drinking to! Calabash Inn is centrally situated in the heart of Glenashley, a small suburb just 8Km north of Durban and 5Km south of Umhlanga Rocks.
Each of our rooms allow you to enjoy the breathtaking sea views and be lulled to sleep at night by the sound of thundering waves crashing onto the beach. Choose from any of the 8 stylishly decorated and well-equipped en-suite rooms, 2 of which lead onto relaxing patios.
Our conference facility accommodates up to 30 delegates as we offer teas lunches and other drinks.
