Room: OK but very dark; light bulbs also dark making reading impossible; good bed. Bathroom: Little space to place personal accessories; latrina type toilet, in order to clean the walls of the toilet a water bucket from the shower has to be used; shower without warm water if there is no sunshine. Restaurant: Excellent food at all meals. Adequacy of price: US$ 80 per person and night. Parc entrance fee of US$ 80 per person and day makes a stay very expensive. Ugandan residents pay much less (UGX 30,000 = US$ 12) for entrance fee.

At Murchison Falls, the Nile squeezes through an 8m wide gorge and plunges with a thunderous roar into the "Devil's Cauldron" , creating a trademark rainbow.
