Description

Böhm's Zeederberg Country House is situated on a hilltop 900 meters above sea level, with majestic views over the Sabie River Valley and the Sabie River below. The farm borders the Pine and Eucalyptus forests of Sabie, and to the other side lies the Hazyview agricultural heartland producing export quality citrus, bananas, avocados, mangoes and other subtropical fruits.

The swimming pool lies within the two hectare lush subtropical garden, and swimming is pleasant from September to May. The garden is filled with beautiful indigenous trees, which have been labeled for easy identification. The garden is a birdwatcher's paradise, with three different kinds of Loeries frequenting the huge wild fig trees. For those seeking serenity, the garden offers many private corners to simply sit and watch the beauty of nature or to read a good book from our library.

Our Restaurant serves home cooked Dinners prepared by Mrs Böhm, with the accent on French African Country cooking combined with fresh herbs from the garden. The Dining Room serves Dinners daily from 19h00 - 20h30. Enjoy a sundowner on our Cocktail Terrace in the summer, or a sherry in front of our roaring log fire in the lounge during the winter. A stylish Table d'Hote Menu changes daily and specialises in local delicacies.

Böhm's Zeederberg has 10 rooms, eight in the garden and two in the Main building. The rooms are individually decorated and each has a private verandah with views over the majestic Sabie River Valley. All are equipped with a mini bar fridge, telephone, coffee making facilities, hairdryer, heater and air-conditioner. King size or twin bedded rooms are available.

A third bed for an extra person sharing can fit into four of these rooms.
