Bergheim Country Estate

Bergheim is unique! Louna provides a wonderful welcome, excellent food, very comfortable accommodation, a great setting. You feel immediately at home there, very relaxing after a long drive. Can't recommend it enough!

If you want to be outside Windhoek in a quiet area this is the place you have to be. Rooms are perfect even though they are not 5* but extreme good if you arrive from a long flight from Europe. I hope you can eat a lot because breakfast is enormous. I'll return if I come back to Namibia.

We stayed twice with Louna on our way to and from Sossousvlei and received such a warm welcome and five star service and such kindness. The food was wonderful home cooking and beautifully presented. The king size bed was the most comfortable we had in our three weeks of touring Namibia and lovely bedlinen. I have no hesitation in recommending Bergheim. This reveiw is additional to my previous one which was written early in the morning after a long journey home and did not reflect fully our stay!

Bergheim has very comfortable spacious rooms and is the perfect place to stay at the start or end of a trip to the Dunes and is only an hour from the airport. The pool is lovely and the photos do not do justice to the beautiful shady terrace. Food is great and Louna is a wonderful welcoming hostess. Very good value accommodation!

Excellent place and service. Nicely located to start or end a journey in Namibia. We really enjoyed staying in Bergheim and definitely recommend a stay there.
