Baobab, situated in the Limpopo Province (less than 2 hours from Pretoria), was acquired in mid 2007 by a family that enjoys the outdoors and especially nature. We are ardent hunters and conservationists that wish to create a space for families to visit and relax, wives and mothers included! Our tranquil setting ensures all enjoy the break! We try to provide the ideal setting where families and friends can breakaway from the concrete jungle and relax in a picturesque environment that provides something new everyday. Sitting around the boma fire at night listening to the night owls and the jackals is special, not to mention the fish-eagle cry from the river that dissects the property. The fauna and flora attracted us to Baobab and will surely rub-off on you! We do not only cater for hunters but for breakaways as well. Whilst hunting is happening, the young ones can safely ride their quads/ bikes on the property across the road on the tracks and river area provided. Catering can also be provided by either a gourmet chef or a “boerekos” specialist for those who are really not in the mood to cook. Menus are available for perusal and selection of menus are made to suite ones taste. We have developed this farm from scratch and are proud of what we have achieved and therefore are grateful to share our dream with you!

Facilitities available:

• 300ha enclosed game area;


• Game fenced;


• Secure camp area with 2 chalets (air-conditioned 2 bedrooms, one bedroom with full bathroom and other bedroom with shower, toilet and wash basin);


• 1 “honeymoon suite” (air-conditioned single bedroom with shower, toilet and wash basin);


• Dining Lapa (square table seating 8 comfortably with counter with two hot trays for dishing-up purposes) and comfortable bar area;


• Boma and braai area;


• Complete farm kitchen;


• Towels and bedding provided;


• All cutlery utensils, appliances;


• Coldroom and butchery;
