Bakkers Bed and Breakfast offers safari tours with a personal touch to the Kruger National Park, guided by your host Cees Bakker. He is an experienced and licensed field guide with a passion for nature and wildlife. The Kruger National Park is the flagship of nature conservation with an impressive number of species: 336 trees, 49 fish, 34 amphibians, 114 reptiles, 507 birds and 147 mammals. Passionate about wildlife, Cees shares his knowledge on nature and insures that your private safari tour will become an unforgettable event. Special requests such as birding are part of the personal service that the private safari tours offer. This fully arranged trip includes a 2 nights stay, including breakfast, in one of our garden cottages, a private safari day tour to the Kruger National Park (including entrance fees and transport), soft drinks during the tour and 2 dinners and 1 lunch for R. 2,499.00 per person.

Description

Bakkers Bed and Breakfast is a small, cozy / intimate bed and breakfast with a personal touch for everyone. Five minutes from the Phalaborwa Kruger Gate and close to other culture and nature activities. Visit us and make your holiday an unforgettable experience! Phalaborwa is called the city of two summers as we usually have a very nice temperature here. In the South African summer ( November till April ) the average temperature during the day is between 30 and 40 degrees C. In the evening and during the night that is around 20 degrees C. Phalaborwa is rich in culture and nature and there are many activities you can undertake from this place. Phalaborwa is the centre of the Kruger to Canyon (K2C) Birding Route and therefore the perfect place from which you can explore this route!! We offer 2 Private units each accommodating 2 persons , with en-suite bathroom (shower and toilet). We also have 2 double bedrooms in the house with a shared bathroom (shower, bath and toilet). All rooms have air-conditioning and ceiling fans and their own private entrance. Both units have tea and coffee making trays. Breakfast is served in the dining room and available from 45 minutes before Kruger gate opening until 9.30. Lunch and dinner available by prior arrangement, or you can go to one of the restaurants in Phalaborwa. (Information about the restaurants in Phalaborwa is available in the information folder in each room, and we would be happy to give you advice). Swimming pool. Private and safe parking. There are no pets in Bakkers B&B, and no pets from guests will be allowed. All rooms are non smoking rooms. The following can be arranged for you: * Transfer to and from the Johannesburg or Phalaborwa airport for guests. * Guided tours in SA for a 3 weeks maximum, starting in Johannesburg or Phalaborwa with your own private guide. * Several, full day, safaris in the Kruger National Park with your own private guide. * Several safaris in the Kruger National Park with Kruger park-guides. * And much more……
