The spacious en-suite rooms are beautiful decorated with a mix of European Antique and African Style!
All rooms have private entrances and are fully equipped with all modern conveniences:
desk, T.V, bar fridge, coffee/tea making facilities, hairdryer and private patio.
For the more romantically inclined, our Honeymoon suite is just what you need.

A scrumptious breakfast is served in the Guest House and other meals are available on request.
Avondrust offers also a self catering cottage (with own private entrance) contained: 2 separated rooms sharing 1 bathroom, fully equipped kitchenette with stove and microwave, coffee/tea facilities, fridge, T.V, soccer table.

There is an unwind sea facing patio with outside barbeque and swimming pool.

For the convenience of the business visitor: telephone, fax and internet facilities are available.

Avondrust Guest House is the ideal place for accommodating individuals, families and small groups.
Conference facilities are available ( workshops, functions,…) up to 15 people.

We provide an informal and relaxed environment with swimming pool and a fascinating garden with cactus & succulent and decorated with Zimbabwean Stone-art.

In our cosy curio shop you will find authentic African Art gifts.

Avondrust is situated in the centre of Saldanha overlooking the Bay, within walking distance from beach, shops & restaurants. The peaceful village and surroundings are well known for water sport enthusiasts as well as eco-tourism: Fynbos, wetland, strand fields, wildflower spectacle annually…

We gladly assist you in the overwhelming choices of day & half-day tours, whale & dolphin watching excursions as well as bird watching cruises, fossil park visits, scenic hiking trails, horse riding, golf courses, township visits, good restaurants and other interesting places to visit.
From the beginning of August till mid September ( early Spring!) the West Coast experiences a complete metamorphosis and the landscape will be turned into one colourful flower carpet.

We speak Dutch, French, Afrikaans and English.
