Amakhosi Safari Lodge is ideally situated in the heart of Northern Zululand in Kwazulu-Natal. Easily accessible by way of air charter or road. A 4 1/2 hour drive from Johannesburg and 3 1/2 hours from Durban, making Amakhosi Lodge a central point uniquely situated with 2 1/2 hours from St Lucia, Sodwana, Richard's Bay and Swaziland. Amakhosi offers an abundance of prime 'big five' game viewing as well as over 15 species of antelope, hippo, crocodile, over 400 bird species and so much more. Riverbanks are home to the main lodge with the magnificent regal River Suites offering special views of the flowing Mkuze River. All River Lodges have a fold-out couch located in the lounge area, which can be made up as a comfortable double bed should children wish to share with their parents. A camping cot is also available for younger children.
Children from 0-5 years of age can be accommodated at no charge. 6 - 12 years of age accommodated at 50% of the adult rate, if sharing with adults - 13 & older full adult rate.
