AFRICAN GARDEN COTTAGE is a private rondavel(cottage) in a garden, on a working farm. It is situated between Piet Retief and Pongola, just 3km from the N2, national highway. The farm also borders Swaziland and only minutes from the Mahamba border post. The cottage has 2 rooms; one room with a double bed and the other room has 2 single beds. There is vanity area, bathroom and separate shower. The cottage has a stocked bar-fridge and hospitality tray for your convenience. AFRICAN GARDEN COTTAGE has a beautiful garden view that overlookds maize fields and rolling Swazi hills. Breakfast can be served outside in the garden or room service. Lunch, dinner and picnic baskets are available on request, with prior arrangement. Enjoy bass fishing, scenic walks along dirt roads between maize fields, cycling and bird watching. Come and spend a relaxing night or two at AFRICAN GARDEN COTTAGE and enjoy our country hospitality in our beautiful, secure surroundings!

A private, thatch roof rondavel (cottage) with a stone floor in a beautiful 3 hectar garden, on a working farm. The cottage overlooks maize fields and rolling Swazi hills. There are 2 rooms, one with a double bed and the other a twin room, therefore a maximum occupancy of 4 people in this cottage. Please see "Stone Cottage" which accommodates 2 people, should you require another cottage. (There is no self-catering in this cottage).
