Convenient getaway for Addo Elephant National Park,04 May 2008
Overall our stay was very good. The hospitality in particular was excellent and the owners are extremely friendly and kind. Breakfasts were excellent and the b&b is conveniently located to the entrance of the Addo Elephant National Park. Our room had twin beds rather than a large double bed which we would have preferred. We would highly recommend the establishment particularly if you are looking to stay for a night or two and you would like easy access to the Addo Park.

Lovely! ,03 February 2008
Thank you so much Maggie and Les for the warming hospitality. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic (so much to eat and so good!) and the rooms were nicely decorated. You can park your car off street, but it was very safe around here anyway. Addo Gateway Lodge is a nice starting point to go to Addo and the surrounding area (Sundays River Mouth).

The Sundays River Ferry Company is proud to announce the launch of a brand new ferry cruiser that is designed to accommodate a maximm of 30 paying passengers to cruise the beautiful Sundays River from its mouth for up to 18km upstream.
The ferry is fully licensed, insured and surveyed by the south African Maritime Safety Authority (SAMSA) and is skippered by a qualified Captain. The craft boasts an upper deck with fresh water on tap with flushing toilet facility. There are sufficient seats for all passengers to be seated and it can accommodate access for wheel chairs.
