Our room was very comfortable and found Maggie to be an excellent host. We enjoyed our stay.
Our thanks to Maggie and Les for a wonderful stay at their lodge. The accommodation was spacious and well-equipped and Maggie and Les were very helpful. Maggie arranged for my son to go quad biking and Les took us on a lovely cruise on the Sundays River ferry. He was also very informative with his knowledge of bonsai. We would definitely stay there again, and recommend the lodge without hesitation to friends. Thanks again, Maggie and Les!
Overall our stay was very good. The hospitality in particular was excellent and the owners are extremely friendly and kind. Breakfasts were excellent and the b&b is conveniently located to the entrance of the Addo Elephant National Park. Our room had twin beds rather than a large double bed which we would have preferred. We would highly recommend the establishment particularly if you are looking to stay for a night or two and you would like easy access to the Addo Park.
Good hosts and lovely place
Thank you so much Maggie and Les for the warming hospitality. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic (so much to eat and so good!) and the rooms were nicely decorated. You can park your car off street, but it was very safe around here anyway. Addo Gateway Lodge is a nice starting point to go to Addo and the surrounding area (Sundays River Mouth).
