Description

Zion Game Lodge is an exclusive lodge located on a private reserve, offering a perfect getaway for families, friends and small groups. The lodge is situated in the picturesque and malaria-free Waterberg biosphere, and is celebrated for its peaceful atmosphere, beautiful surroundings, breathtaking sunsets, diverse wildlife, unique game drives and bush picnics, which all add to a true African Bushveld experience.

Accommodation is offered in unique rock-art chalets near a sparkling swimming pool. Zion Game Lodge can accommodate groups of up to 20 guests at a time, sharing a fully equipped communal, self-catering kitchen. The Sunset Deck, or as our guests call it, the Gin and Tonic Lounge, overlooks the dams and bush landscape, with game coming up to the lodge and water, and is the ideal place to relax and enjoy a sundowner while watching the sunset.

All game drives at Zion Game Lodge are conducted by John, the owner, who shares his passion for the bushveld, trees and animals. As a wildlife vet, John is well informed about all aspects of the fauna and flora on the farm. Game drives are included in the daily rate.

Peace and tranquillity

If you're looking for stunning hospitality, peace and quiet and a really unique bush experience, then Zion is the perfect destination. We were made to feel at home immediately by owners Susan and John, who also took their time to explain the abundance of wildlife and plants on their small reserve. John's knowledge and passion for the great outdoors made our game drives truly unique. The lodge and lapa areas were fantastic, and the viewing deck was our favourite sun-spot!
