Description

This cottage is very private, fully enclosed and surrounded by indigenous East Cape bush and trees. It is set on a magnificent sea facing smallholding in the pristine Chelsea Conservancy on the New Sea view Road about 8 km outside Port Elizabeth at the end of the world renowned Garden Route.

There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms, large living area and a well-equipped kitchen.

The birdlife is a delight for twitchers. The views from the cottage are exquisite, overlooking the Indian Ocean and milkwood trees and indigenous Eastern Cape bush surround it. The Port Elizabeth Airport is 20 minutes to this relaxing escape from the rat race.

Please no smoking in cottage. Big 5 tours are available within 1 hours drive away at the Shamwari Game Park and the Addo Elephant Park whilst the Kragga Kamma Game Park is just 10 minutes away. Our local Sea view Lion Breeding Park is also just 15 minutes away. Excellent shopping, dining and cinemas at nearby Walmer Park shopping centre 12 km and the Boardwalk area and casino at the seafront is not too far away yet you are private and safe in our Chelsea conservancy.

The best rest ever!

The cottage is the best find ever. The accommodation was clean and the owners so helpful. The bird life and the views made our stay so relaxing. Easy to find and to use as a base but because we felt so at home we stayed close by most of the time and just chilled. Will be using it again.

The cottage's location is perfect; completely secluded and surrounded by bush with a view of the ocean from the braai area. The drive to the sea is pleasant and not far. In the opposite direction, also not far away, is a suburb with all the facilities you need. The hosts were excellent and the facilities were more than excellent.

Our stay was very enjoyable even though the weather was not so good. It rained most of the time but we really enjoyed the tranquility of the place .The cottage is very well equipped and Andrew is a very pleasant and friendly host.We were equipped with a binoculars and we had some good viewing of the neighborhood small holdings,sea and bird life. Bird lovers will love the place as it is really full of bird life .It is certainly a place to visit if you want a break away from city life.
