Xere Motel

Xere Motel is locatied in the Rakops Village in Botswana, along the Rakops-Maun road.

Xere Motel offers eleven comfortably furnished en-suite thatched chalets. The units are air-conditioned and furnished with double beds and satellite TVs are provided. The motel also has a cocktail bar and an a la cart restaurant, and lunch and dinner are available on request. Conference facilities are also available for use.

When staying at the motel, guests can enjoy activities like fishing at the Boteti River, which flows through the village. Cultural activities and traditional dancing can be organized on request.

Xere Motel is a good stopover for guests on their way to the central Kalahari Game Reserve and also ideal for tourists who would like to visit Makgadikgadi Game Reserve. The Makgadikgadi Game Reserve incorporates Ntwetwe Pan, Makgadigadi Pans, Nxai Pan, Baines' Baobabs and Kudiakam Pan and visitors will have pay park fees at either the Xhumaga or Nxai Pan Game Scout Camp. Four-wheel drive is recommended throughout this area, throughout the year.
