We as a family really enjoyed our stay at Wykeham Lodge. It is in a tranquil setting at the edge of the town. When you have arrived, you simply have to unwind!

29 June 2014

Could have been a lovely stay but actual place does not meet up with pictures on internet (website). My wife stayed first night 25th June and the next day when I arrived to stay 26th we noticed that the bed had not been made properly - Duvet just pulled straight and sheets underneath still wrinkled from previous nights sleep. Coffee and sugar was not replaced for next day. The night of the 26th was a disaster deluxe the toilet cistern decided to break and the water just ran and ran all night long from 2.0am. Not a pleasant stay at all !! I feel too much is left on poor Ilanze's shoulders she needs some help around the place. She tried her best under the circumstances and was most apologetic and we should have been reimbursed some way or another. I was there on Business and pleasure and brought my wife as company and also for a bit of a break.
