Description
Woodwind is set amongst an Indigenous Forest (Milestone) which is a National Heritage Site. Milestone is an example of Afro-Montane Forest and is home to a huge variety of indigenous trees many of which have been labeled with both Botanical and common names. There is a walking trail through the forest between ourselves and our neighbors which is maintained by the local Balgowan Conservancy. The views from the cottage over the valley are spectacular. The cottage has two bedrooms, a full bathroom, open-plan sitting room/kitchen and patio; it is offered on a self-catering basis. Woodwind is ideally located just off the Caversham Road and is less than ten minutes from Michaelhouse School, Boshoek Golf Course and La Lampara restaurant.
