Our room led off the verandah and had every possible convenience, including a huge bathroom with a tub big enough for two people. The hosts bent over backwards to help us. Got medication for me as I was ill when I arrived. Made us gorgeous, frothy cuppuccinos and even allowed us to leave our car in their grounds for three days and would not hear of being paid for it. Beautiful wooded area and very quiet. We will definitely be back.

Somerset West is a perfect alternative for Cape Town or Stellenbosch, especially when you want to avoid traffic and overpriced accommodation. Woodlands is Cape Dutch from the outside, everything inside is definitely new and modern. I always have preferred the smaller B&B's for more personal attention. I will come back any time!

We spent two nights at Woodlands Manor and although they are busy renovating their home our room was immaculate. Mark and Hilde went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. We will definitely go back to Woodlands Manor if we have to stay over in Somerset West again.
