Woodcliffe Farm House and Cottage is a scenically magnificent farm located 22 km from Maclear. Woodcliffe is the last inhabited farm before the high Drakensberg and is a destination for nature-lovers who enjoy a sense of space and mountain wilderness.
The Farmhouse is a beautiful double-storey unit sleeping up to 10 guests in five bedrooms. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and the dining room and lounge are open plan. A fireplace and plenty of wood will keep the winter chills away. The Farmhouse also features a well-established garden with big shade trees. Woodcliffe Cottage is a thatched three-bedroom unit with one bathroom and an an open-plan kitchen and lounge area with a Jetmaster fireplace.
Woodcliffe is graded 3 Stars by the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa and is a Quality Assured establishment with the AA. Spend a few days to relax, hike, trout fish and see dinosaur footprints. In addition, qualified nature guides can be arranged to take guests to world-famous rock art and rare Drakensberg orchids in the summer months.

Location: Clients wanting a relaxing stay with excellent mountain views would enjoy Woodcliffe. One of our visitors wrote in our visitors book that 13 waterfalls could be seen from our cottage after a summer thinderstorm.
Family: Come hike, swim in the clear mountain streams and 10 km of trout fishing on the property. Bring your mountain bicycle for adventurous cycling through the valleys. Children are welcome to use the trampoline at the farmhouse.
Great Outdoors: Hikes start from the farmhouse, the trout filled Little Pot and Redcliffe streams offer excellent fishing, birding, swimming in crystal clear mountain streams. The views at Woodcliffe are spectacular .
Business Traveller: We have access to Wi-Fi , telephone, fax machine and credit card facilities at the farmhouse .
