The perfect base for cape town - or just relaxing!
The Patch was the perfect place to stay in Cape Town. Chris and Pat are the friendliest hosts I've encountered, gave us lots of advice and took an interest in our travels, including excellent restaurant recommendations and saved us a lot of time avoiding a road block! The house itself is beautiful, everything you need is there, it's a 5 minute walk to great bars and restaurants, and the pool is fantastic too. Stay at Calderwood was fantastic. Food, accommodation, etc was great, and the service beyond compare. The only limitation was proximity to Midlands Meander et al (some 50km away from such points of interest) so not the ideal place if the meander is of great importance for the stay. Otherwise, well worth a stay. The service and follow-up by "SAFARINOW" certainly a factor in having chosen this location, and will no doubt be used for futures forays into the midlands, etc. — Anonymous, South Africa
