About White House Guest Farm

The White House is an affordable halfway stop between Cape Town and Windhoek with accommodation for up to 28 people. The house itself is a stunning old farmhouse with Oregon pine floors, high wooden ceilings, wide verandas and a huge kitchen.

Guests stay in one of the five beautiful old rooms with en-suite facilities. The White House is fully equipped with bedding, towels, cutlery, toaster, kettle, tea, coffee, and sugar. There is provision for self-catering, but the guest house is well known for their home-cooked meals. We serve dinner, breakfast and provide braai packs. We also supply the wood and grid.

The White House is situated just over a 100 km from both the Fish River Canyon and Ais Ais Hot Springs.

Very nice chalet with everything you may need to make for a comfortable stay. Not far from the main road but secluded and quiet. We enjoyed a very good hearty farm dinner delivered to our chalet. A relaxed and reviving environment to take time out on a long and dusty journey.

14 of us, (aged between 17 and 50), were warmly received by our very organised hosts.  The house was clean and well equipped. We booked a dinner, which was delicious, and also ordered packed breakfasts for the next days' journey.  Well priced, and situated for those travelling from Cape Town up north or visa versa. (+-860kms).

The family room we stayed in was enormous and very comfortable. It felt like home. The farm is beautiful and the owner Dolf was very friendly.

My husband and I recently travelled from SA through Namibia and stayed for one night at the White House Guest Farm. We received a lovely warm welcome from the owner, Kinna, and a wonderfully cooked dinner. We will stay there again.
