Wheatlands Lodge

Quiet environment, clean rooms and spacey bathroom. Friendly staff. Perfect breakfast! Problems with hot water.

We had a fantastic two days stay at the Wheatlands Lodge during our traveling from Kaapstad to Knysna. It is a very charm full house with a history, Very nicely restored and maintained, beautifully decorated and designed. It breaths a very cosy, homely atmosphere, but above all: Janet and Donald are such wonderful people. Perfect hosts, interesting personalities and lovely and warm to meet and chat with. They are for ever in our memories as is the superb and unique breakfast they provided us with. The must stay in Bredasdorp, for sure!

Pleasant hosts sharing information and very helpful. Divine breakfast! Room really spacious, clean and very tatstefully furnished. Will look no furhter in future when in vicinity. Special little touches.

We stayed here for 2 nights. We were made to feel very welcome. Both Janet and Donald were full of local knowledge and gave us lots of ideas of places to see. The breakfasts were excellent -we especially liked the artistic touch with the fruit platters! If we are in the area again we will definitely stay there. Many thanks
