Description

Wheatfields Guest House is a beautifully restored and stylishly decorated Victorian house located in Moorreesburg, 100 km north of Cape Town in the midst of our wheat growing area.

The house was built at the turn of the century and is surrounded by a huge verandah which looks out on a leafy English garden. In winter, the lounge with its fireplace, provides a relaxing place to sip a sherry and unwind.

This peaceful haven, decorated with antique pieces from far and wide, provides an ideal stopover on the N7 to Namibia. Being centrally situated in the Swartland, the West Coast beaches and towns are a mere 40 minute drive away.

Very pleasant and relaxing, but maybe a bit too 'busy' with all the old, but very interesting, furniture etc. Very friendly host and daughter.

Wheatfield is an old house that were changed into a guest house. The antique furniture and decoration creates a cosy atmosphere and the friendly welcome and hospitality of Tony the owner and his interesting stories of the region immediately makes you feel at home. The full breakfast was outstanding and tasteful and will load you for the day. This is definitely a place that we will get back to and I will recommend it to anybody who is looking for a place to stay where the hospitality ... more

Ons was hartlik ontvang deur die eienaar en het ons dadelik laat tuis voel. Sal dit te alle tye aan almal wat in 'n plattelandse omgewing wil vakansie hou, aanbeveel. We were warmly received by the owner and we felt at home immediately. Will recommend to people wanting a holiday in the countryside.
