Magnificent View
It was just perfect for a quiet holiday with a magnificent view of the whole of False Bay. Lorna & Ben were both very friendly, caring hosts and the accommodation was spacious with everything that I needed.

We only stayed at this guest house for two nights and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
The guest house is in a superb location and has amazing views, our stay could not have been better.
The view to the Ocean was unbeatable and breath-taking . We saw lot's of whales, right from our bed.

Lovely guest house
Thank you again for a wonderful night we spend at your lovely guesthouse, with the added bonus of picking up on old acquaintances it made it extra special. The view is spectacular, the room is so spacious and beautifully decorated, and the very tasty scones a nice midnight snack surprise. We have had a wonderful stay, everything was lovely, you have made us so welcome, and we will be returning very soon, Thank you so much.

Description
Our lovely luxury downstairs suites have breathtaking views of +180° over the whole of False bay. Whalesounds is situated against the mountain with uninterrupted views of the sea and mountains. The ocean laps right beneath the house which is a favourite spot for the whales to visit every year. Watch them and hear them all day and night from your apartment! Each apartment is ensuite and have a seperate entrance. The large windows bring the beautiful views right into your room where you can watch the yachts float by or the dolphins play from your bed in the morning. There is no balcony. Each apartment also has a TV with DSTV, armchairs, fridge/freezer, micro wave, toaster,kettle, crockery and cutlery. Bedlinen and towels are supplied. You can walk to the shops and lovely safe beach. There are many restaurants very close by that offer good meals at very reasonable prices. We offer Breakfast optional. There are many stunning sites to visit within a 30 minute drive. To name a few: Cape Point Nature Reserve; Ostrich Farm; Simon'sTown Naval base and Historical buildings, Hiking trails,Golf courses, Penguins at Boulders beach; Camel rides at Imhoff's Gift; Horse riding on Long beach at Noordhoek; Scuba diving at the wreck/marine reserve in False Bay; Wine farms in Constantia; The famous Botanical Gardens in Kirstenbosch; The Largest Bird Sanctuary in Houtbay; V&A Waterfront in Cape Town etc etc etc!
