This is a lovely place for a holiday to get to know Cape Town and the area. We stayed for 2 weeks at this apartment and for us it was the perfect starting point for our excursions to the city of Cape Town, Gaansbai and Stellenbosch. The Cape Peninsula itself is also beautiful and has much to offer (penguins, an ostrich farm, baboons, stunning beaches and sunsets and of course Cape Point). Simon's Town is quiet, beautiful and safe, which is why we chose to stay there and not in Cape Town proper. Simon's Town has the feel of an English seaside town, complete with fish and chips :-) The garden and the private deck with the sea view are beautiful and perfect for breakfast or lunch. The apartment itself is tastefully furnished and decorated, the bathroom is big and modern, and the kitchenette had all we needed for a 2-week-vacation (fridge, hot plate, water kettle, toaster, microwave). The hosts were very friendly and helpful and even sent me my camera I had forgotten in the room. In all, a very good experience!
