Walking Tall Self-catering Lodge is situated 300 m from the Crocodile River in Marloth Park and next to the Kruger National Park.

This three-bedroom house offers two en-suite bedrooms and three bathrooms. There is 24-hour response and you will feel spoilt in this remote retreat with its modern African finishes and lovely views. Have a barbecue in the boma while enjoying the luxury of a seven-seater Jacuzzi and watch wild animals such as giraffe, zebra, kudu, warthog, impala, baboons and more than 100 bird species drink at the waterhole located just 10 m from the house.

The park offers two supermarkets, two public swimming pools, a petrol station, a laundromat, numerous restaurants and game drives in its own nature conservancy containing lions and buffalo. Walking Tall is located 10 minutes from the Kruger National Park's Crocodile Bridge Gate and 80 km away from Maputo and the famous Panorama route.

Walking Tall is the ideal place if you want to see many giraffes, zebras and warthogs! You can almost touch the giraffes from the top balcony. In the evening we could have a relaxing moment in the Jacuzzi whilst being surrounded by zebra. Lovely accommodation. Everything you need is there and only 300m walk from the Crocodile River. Thank you for making our break so nice and relaxing!

I loved the stay there... the house... the experience and every little perk that comes with staying at walking tall. I don't regret choosing walking tall as my holiday destination... chances are I will go back!

This is a spacious and comfortable house near Kruger and also easy to find within Marloth Park. The owner was efficient and helpful as was the person who handed over the keys. It has a wonderful balcony which we sat on at night and the first night managed to lock ourselves out on it. Jumping was not an option, so we had to sound the alarm. The security people were there within 6 minutes which was not just great for us but also reassuring. Animals would come through the garden regularly and sometimes decided to park themselves there for a while which was a fabulous plus. The house was well appointed and the facilities all worked perfectly, and the jacuzzi was an added bonus. The Crocodile River is close by and we would drive to the lookout points which have wonderful views over the river - this view cant be seen from the Kruger side by the way as the road in Kruger that is parallel to the river is set further in land so the Marloth Park views are unique. In order to drive on the bumpy back roads of Marloth one really needs a 2x4 or a car higher off the ground, as only the main road is tarred. We had a wonderful stay and I would recommend Walking Tall as great value and a super location for friends and couples wanting to visit Kruger and the area.
