Vulindlela Rooms

Possibly the worst B&B in South Africa. We had to leave after one night with the owner promising a partial refund but after several E-mails no refund has been forthcoming and he no longer replies to my messages.The outside stairs to the rooms were split and very dangerous, the rooms were dirty, we had to sleep on our own towels as their sheets were dirty. The clothes drawers had no bottoms in them, the electric sockets were completely overloaded hanging off the wall with bare wires showing and extremely dangerous, The list could go on forever. DONT GO.

I've struggled to find the right words to describe our experience at Vulindlela. "More than a home away from home" is the closest I can muster(not a cliche!). Thank you so much for for your warms. The kinds can't stop raving about it! For improvements, you may want to consider the following: chairs in the rooms, less visible electrical and tv cables; and smaller hotel type courtesy soaps.

We enjoyed our stay at Vulindlela with Pat and family. The rooms are basic and feels like home but the service was top notch. Will definately come back and recommend this place. And oh, the breakfast! Fit for a King. And a Queen.

My wife and I had a great time at Vulindlela rooms. Patrick was most helpful in providing us with directions. He even met us at a convenient spot to take us to the accommodation. He never came in our way, but was always most oblidging to assist and make our stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible. Being the first Muslims at Vulindlela he made every effort to repect our cultural/religious beliefs. We would recommend Vulindlela to anyone as the hospitality was splendid.
