Description

Situated in the leafy suburb of Riviera, the Bed and Breakfast is located within walking distance of convenience stores, shops, restaurants, café’s, and art galleries. It is also close to mayor public transport routes and 5-15 min drive away from the Pretoria CBD, Hospitals, Clinics, the Union Building, the State Theater, Lofts stadium, mayor museums and most embassies.

The cottage displays the distinctive flair and character of its French owner and hostess Viviane. The four en-suite rooms have been carefully furnished and decorated with distinctive South-African themes in mind. They are each equipped with their own fridge, television, fan and heater. There is ample room for guests to relax in the two lounges, dining room, breakfast room and lush garden outside.

Clean and comfortable

The rooms are nicely decorated with clean bathrooms with good pressure in the shower and lots of hot water. It is very quiet, perfect for a good rest. The breakfast was average and the internet connection quite weak. The cottage is quite far from everything if you don't have your own transport. The beds were comfortable and it is peaceful enough for a very good sleep.

It was wonderful and friendly. The hostess was most accommodating. I had forgotten my iron at home and borrowed one there and they helped with no charge. I live in Port Elizabeth and I must say Pretoria is not as renowned for friendliness as our city does however it was friendlier there.

Vivian, was a gracious hostess. Our room was spotless and very tastefully furnished and had all amenities we required. Would definitely recommend this guest house to any traveller, be it local or overseas. Only downfall, is the area which has busy roads with lots of traffic noise - this might disturb some travellers but we are used to this.
