Description

Villa Ora is a serene 80-year-old colonial-style home featuring a sunny wrap-around veranda and an elegant entrance hall leading to spacious rooms with high ceilings and beautiful wooden floors. Great care has been taken to preserve the character of the house whilst adding all the modern feature comforts required by the discerning guest.

We take pride in offering our guests superior comfort and excellent furnishings. As we offer five bedrooms only, we are able to personally attend to the comfort of all our guests. The guest house is very tranquil, especially around the pool area which is surrounded by lovely greenery to enjoy the warm South African sunshine. Overlooking the swimming pool is the breakfast terrace which also serves as an open-air dining area at night when the weather is fine.

An honesty bar with beers, wine and sodas is found on the breakfast terrace. Exercise machines can be found on the back veranda and regular bicycles are available to guests wishing to explore the town further, or to do some serious riding. Internet, phones, safes for valuables and fax facilities are also available.

Situated just off the centre of town, Villa Ora is a short and safe walk away from most of the city's top restaurants, shops, banks, galleries and more. After a long day's driving, guests can explore Oudtshoorn on foot.
