We loved this farm as part of our Namaqualand / West Coast road trip.  The farm itself is beautiful and the accommodation quaint.  The hosts were brilliant and we absolutely loved the jam and rusks the lovely lady of the farm provided.  Would definitely visit again and the kids loved it!

We stayed 4 nights at the Gertjies cottage.  Very private cottage with everything you need to enjoy your stay.  I loved the views from the cottage. Our host Verentia was very helpful providing us with maps and recommendations of drives and places to visit.  We also found some nice rocky places in the farm to walk and look for flowers and succulent plants.   Verentia was so nice she even shared with us some of her nice lemons from the orchard and some rooibos tea to go with it.Saw a group of 4 bat-eared foxes just beyond our cottage.  Many flowers still visible at the time of our stay. The cottag...

The cottage was well-equipped and although no electricity, we did just fine with solar light, candles, gas lamps and a gas stove and geyser. A great way to go back to basics!

Great stay and true value for money! Our two hosts could not have been more welcoming caring and attentive. The kliphuis is a delightful, most comfortable experience to stay in and lacks for nothing. Best rusks and marmelade on the planet! Awesome tranquility and very beautiful early morning and late afternoon walks on the farm. A very worthwhile experience that only a true yobo would not appreciate. We are certainly going back.

Baie aangename verblyf met regte plaas atmosfeer en ongelooflike natuurskoon. Ons het in Gertjie gebly, die eenheid was baie netjies en bied goeie waarde vir geld.

Padlopers, birds, butterflies and blomme Just 17km northwest of Kamieskroon is the Skilpad section of Namaqua National Park. Twitchers and butterfly afficionados love it and it's worth spending a few days here - even in ‘bad years’ the sandy plains...

Lying about 70 km north of Kamieskroon and 15 km southeast of Springbok, Goegap Nature Reserve is a fantastic place to kick off your flower trip. Bearing in mind that the best route to travel for a flower trip is north to south so that you see the...

Spitfire Rock is an excellent location to take interesting photographs. Spectacular “spits” and sprays can be seen as the sea blasts against this rock.
