Baie aangename verblyf met regte plaas atmosfeer en ongelooflike natuurskoon. Ons het in Gertjie gebly, die eenheid was baie netjies en bied goeie waarde vir geld.

We loved Verbe Farm. Cottages were "off grid" but fully equipped for self catering. Beautiful location well away from the lights of towns so the night sky was spectacular. We were a group of four gentlemen cyclists. We cycled extensively in the area on Mountain Bikes. There are lovely rides along the dirt roads and tracks in the countryside surrounding Verbe farm. We also transported our bikes to various starting points in the area and did some excellent circular routes. Highly recommended as a base for cyclists of all levels.

We had a lovely stay at Gertjie se huis - very cosy and peaceful.  Baie dankie vir die gul ontvangs, Pieter en Verencia - ons is jammer ons kon nie nog 'n nag oorslaap nie.

Padlopers, birds, butterflies and blomme Just 17km northwest of Kamieskroon is the Skilpad section of Namaqua National Park. Twitchers and butterfly afficionados love it and it's worth spending a few days here - even in ‘bad years’ the sandy plains...

Spitfire Rock is an excellent location to take interesting photographs. Spectacular “spits” and sprays can be seen as the sea blasts against this rock.
