Situated in the tranquil village of Vanrhynsdorp, the Van Rhyn Guest House offers traditional West Coast hospitality and service. It is an ideal place to spend a few days exploring the surrounding area and discovering the richness and diversity of the West Coast, Knersvlakte, Hantam Karoo, Namaqualand and its people.
The guest house is fully licensed and therefore able to invite you to try some of the local wines from the Olifants River wine route. Breakfast is part of our standard fare and dinner can be served by prior arrangement. Victorian in style, the house was originally built in 1916 and it still retains much of its original character and charm.
Your hosts, Ernest and Herbert, invite you to make yourselves at home and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of our lodgings. Besides offering warm hospitality and friendly service, our aim is to ensure that your stay will prove to be a memorable one.

The private pool patio is great for relaxing on those long, hot summer days or for enjoying a sundowner or meal al fresco.
