Description

This privately owned lodge with six private and intimate self-catering units is situated at the foot of Table Mountain in Gardens. We specialize in family and couple units and respect your privacy. Each self-catering unit is fully equipped with its own entrance. We are passionate about our lodge and aim to provide excellent service.

Relax in the garden under the shade of large trees and savour the tranquillity or watch squirrels and birds playing in the trees. Enjoy our two Labradors; Nala is our gentle and loving old lady, and Rosie is our playful but sometimes naughty toddler who is constantly on the lookout for playmates in her game of fetch.

Gardens appears to lie cradled in the arms of Table Mountain. It is surrounded by the city, Lion’s Head and the mountain, making this popular suburb an easy one in which to base yourself when in Cape Town. Just over the ridge lies Camps Bay with its beautiful pristine beaches.

Gardens is perfectly placed to explore the rest of Cape Town and the hum of the city makes its presence felt here. The neighbourhood is quiet however, with tree-lined streets wide and easy to walk. A car is almost unnecessary, as finding your way from Gardens is easy and, if you remain largely within the city, there is a good public transport network. We also provide tours and transfers should you require.

Kloof Street and Long Street are a quick walk from Gardens and known as the city’s ‘restaurant mile’. Browsing the bookshops and antique stores can be as much fun as the sidewalk cafés, which provide hours of entertainment as the ordinary and extraordinary, of every hue and culture, grace the streets.
