The place is wonderful!! ,20 April 2008
The location is fantastic for those who love the nightlife! The only inconvenience was the noise that comes from the bars below Urban Chic.

Very good,24 January 2008
Even if I think its just a LITTLE overpriced I would certainly recommend it to anyone who likes style, comfort and contemporary decor. The hotel is close to almost every place you want to see, expect of course beaches.
Breakfast is great and included in the rate.
People are very smiley, and helpful nothing to worry about.

Fantastic,21 November 2007
The rooms have great view of the Table Mountain and Lion's Head, especially on the corner.
All of the staff were friendly with full of hospitality.
Breakfast, not only the cold buffet but also the warm dishes right from the kitchen, was also great to start the peaceful day.
Room was clean and well designed, and had sufficient space to relax.
We would like to come back to this hotel for the next chance to come to Cape Town.

In 1997, Frazzitta Enterprises, one of the leading family-owned property investment companies in South Africa, bought and later transformed a neglected; three-storey building in Long Street into the stylish and luxurious boutique hotel it is today. The construction process was intense, with the entire building being demolished, leaving only four internal walls. The foundation was then substantially strengthened, and a floor a month was built until the impressive new seven-storey structure was completed.
The Italian flair of its owners, the Frazzitta family, is apparent in every feature of Urban Chic. From the high-quality finishes and imported stainless steel chandelier that graces the reception area to the minute attention to detail in all aspects of the hotel's operation, this owner- run boutique hotel leaves nothing to be desired.
