Our stay was not inhibited in any way. We felt welcome from the onset of our stay. Petra is an excellent hostess and we were allowed to braai inside her house. The social gathering together with her friends and other travellers was unforgettable. If you know Petra, she knows how to make you feel comfortable, relaxed and does not interfere with your privacy in any way.

A bit about this place
Vryheid is a beautiful town very close to the Ithala game and not to far from Hluhluwe game reserve.
It is also very close to all the English Zulu war sites and there is also a game park adjacent to the town.
There is a warm water resort 45 kilometres from town at Natal Spa. Durban is 320 km away and Johannesburg 400 km.
There is are 3 beautiful dams within 10 kilometres from Vryheid for fishing and water sports.
Blood river monument where the Boers and Zulus had a big battle is about 45 km away.
We offer 5 beautiful bedrooms with shower and toilet, TV, tea and coffee, swimming pool and sauna.
