Description
Under the Berg is a beautiful thatched cottage B&B located only a few minutes’ walk from the centre of Underberg. This is a well-appointed B&B and all rooms are well equipped and spacious.
Accommodation ranges from Backpackers Rooms to en-suite rooms. In-room facilities include DStv viewing, tea and coffee-making facilities, bar fridges and heaters. Guests are welcome to relax in the lounge where you can curl up in front of the fireplace and enjoy a hot drink.
The large garden is very well kept and boasts stunning views of the Southern Drakensberg in the distance. It is an ideal place for families with young children who need to burn off some energy, even after a long day enjoying the outdoors. If you require Internet facilities, access can be found at the Grind Café located a short distance away.
There are five restaurants in the area, but we have braai facilities if you would like to stay in for dinner. Dinners and picnic baskets can be arranged by prior arrangement. Activities include river tubing where we can supply the tubes, hiking, fishing, horse riding, quad biking and 4x4 tours up the Sani Pass.
