Description

Umnenge Lodge is a child friendly luxury African guest house on the cliffs of De Kelders near Gansbaai. Umnenge is a member of Guest House Accommodation of South Africa. The guest house features a lounge, a bar and two rooms and is capable of accommodating adults and children when required. All rooms have a sea view, balconies, and en-suite bathrooms including both bath and shower. The rooms and bathrooms also have underfloor heating and DStv.

You can expect to see from your bed and balcony the whale’s frolicking in season as well as other wildlife as we are situated only 100m from the Walker Bay Nature Reserve. Locally available is a variety of outings and places of interest such as the whales, great white sharks, and boat based fishing, cave exploring, hiking trail through the nature reserve and many more. The second best way to experience this is on our website, the best way is to be here and enjoy our hospitality.

The gem of De Kelders

What a find! The lodge is beautiful and had everything I could possibly need. My bedroom and en-suite bathroom was spacious with the most glorious views. The balcony is the perfect spot to watch the sun go down. Both the breakfasts and the dinner we shared were a real treat. Thank you to Ric, Mary and the boys for making me feel so comfortable and very welcome. This is a very special spot and I would recommend Umnengi Lodge to anyone looking for a place to rest their soul.
