Umbrella Tree House is a delightful little self-contained Bed and Breakfast in the heart of the Umhlanga suburbs. With beautiful sea views and in close proximity to all the major attractions and business areas, this is the perfect spot for holidaymakers and business people.
We have 3 rooms, each with a balcony overlooking the Indian Ocean. All rooms are en-suite with TV in each room. Each room has air-conditioning and a ceiling fan. There is a lounge and dining room which is completely separate from the main residence with DSTV in the lounge. Outside is a lovely wooden deck beneath the trees perfect for relaxation.
We offer ~ Full breakfasts, laundry service, tea and coffee making facilities in the dining room.
We are about 1km from the Umhlanga main beach and village and about 1km from Gateway Shop-entertainment centre. Other attractions within a 20 minute drive are Durban main beaches, Ushaka Marine World, Mount Edgecombe Golf Course, Zimbali Golf course, Sibaya casino, Sun-coast casino.
For business people - We are about 2km from the Umhlanga Ridge business centre, about 20 minutes from Durban city centre, the ICC (International Convention Centre) and the Durban Exhibition Centre, about 10 minutes from Virginia airport, 35 minutes from Durban International Airport.
The entire B&B is also available as a self-catering cottage sleeping 6. Includes all bed linen and bath towels, no swimming towels. Cottage would be serviced every day except Sundays and public holidays. Completely separate from the main house, your privacy is guaranteed. Fully equipped kitchen downstairs.
