Description

Umbhaba Lodge lies on a lush hillside overlooking the Sabie River Valley in Hazyview. A mere 15kms from the Kruger National Park. Set in lush sub-tropical gardens the Lodge provides stylish accommodation which consists of 30 individually decorated luxury suites under thatch. Each exclusive suite includes and open log fireplace, en-suite bathroom, a mini bar and satellite television, comforts for a home away from home.

The a-la-carte restaurant offers superb cuisine complying with international presentation and standards. Weather permitting meals are also served on the terrace overlooking a watering hole for the resident species of game. An excellent South African Vintage wine list compliments the food beautifully.

Our stay at Umbhaba was simply perfect. The staff were very fieindly and attended to our every need. They helped make it a very special trip for my fiance and myself. The room was absolutely stunning.

We were delighted with our stay at Umbhaba. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The views from our room were fantastic and the room itself was one of the best we've stayed in. There is so much to see and do in the area as well as easy access to the Kruger Park. We thouroughly recommend a stay at this Lodge for at least three days minimum (we were there three days but wish it had been seven or more) to get a feel for the place.
