About Uitvlugt Guest House

Uitvlugt, a beautiful Cape Dutch homestead, is the only national monument guest house in the Worcester district and dates back to 1824. Privately owned, Uitvlugt offers guests tranquil Old World charm and the comfort and luxury of a hotel, with the friendliness and service of a guest house.

The guest rooms are elegantly appointed in the stables of bygone years, and Uitvlugt is well-renowned for its excellent breakfasts. We also have the necessary skills to cater for various functions, such as weddings and conferences.

An all around perfect stopover spot where the establishment, hospitality and surrounds are excellent. For those not in a mad hurry stop and relax and make a memory.

My father and I spent the weekend at this lovely guest house, almost 200 hundred years old. Helene welcomed us as if we were old friends. A beautiful farm, with lovely gardens, We were treated to a scrumptious breakfast, for my dad's birthday, cake and bubbly and all.The Sunday breakfast was just as good, and, I will be back!

I had four magical days in the Worcester area. Uitvlugt is amazing. The breakfast is fantastic! My room was spacious and comfortable. The hostess was always helpful, friendly.. in fact, it felt like home. I look forward to returning one day!Tony Richter

The accommodation was quaint and comfortable. I would give the room a 3/5. The breakfast was probably the best I have EVER had at a guest house! If you stay here... eat the breakfast, it was amazing. SO 5/5 for brekkie.

It is in beautiful surroundings on a farm. Everyone is pleasant and friendly. The rooms are comfortable. I opted for B&B and the breakfast was superb. Every attention to detail and well presented. You can do your own thing because there is microwave, toaster and kettle. I thank Helene for answering her cellphone (twice) to give me directions. On my departure Marie shared some of her plants with me. Thank you friends.
