These days you have so many places to choose from when planning a bush holiday or just a weekend away from the stresses of city life. So why choose Turaco Lodge. There are other places that offer what we have, a quiet spot in the bush, close to Kruger National Park, wildlife, birds, good food, great accommodation, etcetera. But we have something more, something money can’t buy.
We are passionate about the bush and everything that goes with it. What’s more, we love people. And we strive to bring the two together in a way that is memorable, special, extraordinary, exciting. We can accommodate a maximum of six guests and children under 12 by arrangement, guided morning walks, close encounters with wildlife, tastefully decorated, air conditioned, spacious rooms with en-suite bathrooms, awesome swimming pool, a sundowner drink overlooking the waterhole, personal assistance with your holiday plans, A special treat when you leave.
Safari: You will be privileged to experience wildlife at close quarters, since the animals of Marloth Park are used to having people around. Your stay includes one game drive and one early morning walk in Marloth Park.
Children under 12 years old by arrangement. Booking is confirmed once deposit has been received and cleared.

Turaco has a saying, "arrive as guests, leave as friends" ...and it is so true. Tony and Danielle are gracious, knowledgeable and fun to be with! They will go out of their way to assure your stay with them is a memory you will always cherish.
Our family thoroughly recommend this spotless, modern little lodge. Our hosts could not have been more welcoming, helpful and attentive. The surroundings were peaceful and animals came close to drink from the little pond. A great experience.
We had the privilege of spending the weekend of 11-13 November 2011 as guests of Danielle and Tony, the proprietors of Turaco Lodge. The lovely iced tea on arrival in a sweltering heatwave set the scene for a delightful and most enjoyable weekend. Our hosts went out of their way to make us feel welcome with delicious food, goodies in the room, always in attendance offering walks, a drive into the lion camp (we elected not to go) and stimulating conversation.
